Searching Tips

Party Search: Use a % sign as a wild card to find all records beginning with the entered text.
Examples: Enter Jo% to find all Jones, Johnsons, Josephson, etc. OR Enter JP Morgan% to find all JP Morgan, JP Morgan Bank, JP Morgan Chase, etc.
Last Name: Last name should also be used for company names.
Party Type: Direct is the equivalent of Party 1 or Grantor/Seller; Indirect is the equivalent of Party 2 or Grantee/Buyer.
Book-Page Search: Enter the Book and Page in the format [Book]-[Page]. Examples: 584-921 or 1112-1229
Assessor Parcel Number (APN) Search: This search may not produce a complete search and should not be solely relied upon for search results. (14-digit APNs should be entered with dashes: 12345678910111)
Date Format: Enter the Recording Date Range in the format [mm/dd/yy]. Example: 1/5/15 or 01/05/15
Year Format: Should be the year listed first andthe remainder of the number listed in box 2. Example: 2019 000165
